How often do you buy clothes for your kids?
I just want to have an idea more or less on how often I should buy my kids clothes. I buy them clothes like all the time every time I get paid, so its like every week that they get something new, and its not just one thing its alot of things. Is that too often?

- As much as you want, i used to buy lots for my kids but they only ever wear the sames favourite things over and over
- How old are your kids? In my opinion, weekly is too often no matter what the age. I buy my kids clothes around every new season. For example, I just bought my son 2 pairs of jeans, 2 pairs of school pants & a shirt. Before this, the last time he got clothes was in August when school was starting.
- Normally, I would do major clothes shopping for our 3 kids just before school starts, but if they need something during the year I'd get that for them. Also, two of them are girls, so I've made their prom dresses for them, which saved a bunch of money. Also, some of those dresses are made very poorly or with scratchy type fabrics.
- i'm a kid! well, a teen. usually i just buy an article or two of clothing everytime i go out shopping, which mean at least 4 new things a month. the only time i go on a major shopping spree is before summer for summer clothing. it depends if you're kid really needs it. like if you're girl already has 9 skirts, she doesn't need anymore, so then it would be too often
- i don't have kids but it seems like you buy clothes to much and in times like this you need to buckle down and make some cuts like buy them clothes when the old ones don't fit or they get worn out. You should buy them clothes every month at least.
- I can't afford to buy clothes everytime I get paid, but if I'm out at a store and I see something nice on sale or clearance, I might buy, usually in a larger size to put away for later. I only 'deliberately' go shopping for my kids around the change of each season and just before school starts, or if they have some special event coming up where they'll need something special to wear. My youngest gets a lot of hand-me-downs from her older sister (many barely worn). They don't need new clothes every week.
- A statement that, when said, causes you to win a quarrel regardless of how irrational your reasoning is. Me: "Ok, all bad people start out as babies, right? If our society adopted the idea of regularly eating babies, then there would be no bad people!" Sarah: "Your fucking insa..(i interrupt)" Me: "This is Sparta!" Sarah: "Damn it..."
